Fiddlin’ on the Falls Fiddle Contest (June 15-16)

On June 15-16, at the Colonial Theater (450 A. Street) in downtown Idaho Falls, we will sponsor a fiddle contest. This is expected to be a big and fun event, with many top name and local contestants on their way to the National Old Time Fiddler’s contest in Weiser Idaho. The judges will be Katrina Pearce (3-time National Divisional Champion and 4-time Idaho Open Fiddle Champion) and John Francis (past Grand National Champion). There are no entry fees for contestants or guitar accompanists. Prize money totals over $6000.00 with $1400.00 for first place in the champion division. Fiddle and Guitar Camp (July 19 – 21)

We will host our 4th Annual Fiddle Camp and 2nd Annual Guitar Camp with classes on July 19th and 20th and a huge fiddle show, free BBQ and Jam session at the Idaho Falls 20th Street Park on Saturday the 21st. The camp costs $100 for fiddle and $50 for guitar. Instructors include Tim Hodgson, Katrina Pearce, Jaclyn Sites, and Joe Sites. Accommodations are not included.
